Don’t be annoyed by their darker colour, that’s exactly what they should look like. Buy 1 kg of dried wild apricots now!

Where are apricots from?

Apricots have been known for a long time. Apricot seeds from the Copper Age have been found in an archaeological dig in Armenia. Nowadays, they are mainly grown in Turkey, where we also source our apricots. The apricot is a stone fruit and is part of the rose family. Through careful drying, the already aromatic sweetness is complemented by a light sour note which you will love. With no further addition of sulphur or sugar, you get a wonderfully fruity and natural aromatic fruit treat.

They also go well with savoury dishes such as lentil salad, curry, stew, rice dishes or meat, for example lamb. If you are a fan of jam and chutney, you can also use the orange fruits.
